I graduated in 2021 from Leeds Arts University with a first class Hons BA Fine Art. My work talks about the hum-drum of everyday life, its metaphors and anthropomorphic correlations.

Working  intuitively and with memory, ideas come Into my dreams or I wake and ponder through the early hours when most people are sleeping.

I am drawn to the beauty in the unlikely and where there is dichotomy between comfort and discord; the everyday; overlooked; and underrated, which have an association to the human condition.

My practice encompasses found or acquired materials; that have history; and 'speak to me'; whilst promoting heritage, economic and environmental concerns. More recently I have been involved with textiles, weaving and ceramics. Ultimately I want to explore this further, making explosive interconnections between craft, conceptual and expressive ways of communication.

Since graduating I continue to embrace my curiosity and yearn to learn, through exploring, developing, and blending new processes as well as getting to meet new and inspiring artists.

My studio practice is kept alive by seeking opportunities and exhibitions which invariably keep my feet firmly on the ground.
